Serang, 28 July – In a dynamic effort to foster cross-cultural competencies and enrich linguistic diversity, the Language and Culture International Office (LCIO) at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (UNTIRTA) launched its inaugural Basic Korean Training session on yesterday, Monday, 28th of July 2025. Led by tutor Yessy Agustin and attended by participant Naila Zakia, this program marks an important step toward equipping UNTIRTA’s academic community with foundational Korean language skills.
The 1.5-hour class took place at the UPA Bahasa UNTIRTA Building, 1st Floor, Kampus Pakupatan, and will be held regularly every Monday and Thursday. The training provides learners with immersive learning experiences that emphasize both conversational fluency and cultural understanding, supporting UNTIRTA’s commitment to global engagement and student development.
LCIO’s initiative aligns with the broader vision of enhancing international collaboration and preparing students for academic and professional opportunities across Asia. Through structured language instruction and dedicated tutoring, the program aims to build confidence and spark interest in Korean language studies among UNTIRTA’s learners.
