Serang, 11 July 2025 –Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta) successfully conducted the English for General Communication class for Tenaga Kependidikan (Tendik) on 10 and 11 July 2025. This program was specifically designed to support and enhance the English communication skills of administrative staff from various departments and units across the university.
A total of 28 administrative staff members from various departments participated in the program, including the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Government, and the Faculty of Engineering, with each contributing two participants. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences had four participants, while the Postgraduate Program contributed three. Additionally, representatives from the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM), the Center for Educational Development and Counseling (LPMPP), and the Internal Audit Office (SPI) each participated with one member, alongside four from the Educational Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BPKU) and five from the Information Technology and Communication Support Unit (UPA). Reflecting a diverse representation across the university.
Participants learned practical topics such as self-introduction and describing past events, with emphasis on real-world communication skills applicable in academic and professional settings, providing a focused and engaging learning environment.
This initiative reflects the Language Centre and International Office of Untirta’s ongoing commitment to improving the language proficiency and global competence of its staff members, in alignment with the university’s vision toward internationalization and excellence in service. To further this commitment, two additional sessions of the program are scheduled for 17 and 18 July 2025.
